Wednesday nite fever in the city of blinding lights

Met Tom at 9 and he introduced me to Jeremy, a gringo guy from near Boston, a very funny guy who does funny and strange things.

He brought us to a club on the upperside of Lan Kwai Fung. It was a cool club, two bands are playing that nite, an afro band and an filipino band. They are both fantastic, playing songs that I love to sing when i’m in my bath. We got our pass in for free coz Jeremy was making friends with the ticket guy… How did he do it?? I have no idea. I guess some people just have the aura for those kind of thing, so we all saved 100 HK dollars that nite.

We bought our beers in the 7 eleven ( or 7 eight, its a woman’s shop beside the 7 eleven huehue) Than with our beer in our hand we danced on the street just in front of the club. Everybody was looking at us but we didn’t really care… i can assure you that we weren’t drunk…yet!!! Than a spiderman joint us… this guy is wearing a spiderman costume to ask some money for photos and stuff… so rather than working, he join us in our crazy street dancing… he was break dancing. He tried to dance salsa with me, but he wasn’t a pro and i didn’t know anything about it… it was so funny to see… .

Tom was dancing a celt path (he is irish) on a funk music, it was hillarious. Jeremy fell in love with a dutch girl inside the club and i got a lightning smiley pin from the spiderguy.

But it was a week day, so everybody went home at 2 in da moring…. the club was empty, i counted 8 peoples left, and i’m the only girl. There were 2 jews with their kippa on their head and sun glasses rocking on I LOVE ROCK N ROLL, that was a real culture choc. It turns out that those guys were french too. But the band was great. We had a private concert with all style of music… from song 2 to no woman no cry, from sweet escape till semi charmed life… it was great, they really Rock!!!

We went back at 4, i was broke, couldn’t took any taxi so i waited for the star ferry. But the shit thing is that the star ferry only started at 6.30… FUCKKKK… so i waited, half asleep… anyway, i didn’t have any choice. So i laid there on the stairs, facing the bay… the sun hadn’t rise yet, it was calm, no noise… nobody.

I slept on the bay, bercé par des chants des oiseaux at la vague, c’etait une fin magnifique pour une ville osi manifique ke Hong Kong. A 15h ce jour la, je quitta la ville pour revenir à la chine continentale. Prochaine destination… Shanghai.
